Bio

Meet Jaimé Morton, who is redefining the concept of a family legacy in the world of entertainment. Instead of following the traditional path of taking over a family business, Jaimé has embraced her family's rich history in show business with a passion.

Her journey began with her grandfather, a talent manager who guided legendary comics like Henny Youngman, Red Buttons, Phil Foster, and Jan Murray. He even contributed to iconic shows like Hee-Haw and the Carol Burnett Show. Jaimé has harnessed this heritage to become a social media strategist who treats her clients like family, because to her, they already are.

Before her career in social media, Jaimé made waves as an award-winning singer/songwriter, earning national recognition and praise from luminaries such as David Wilcox, Dar Williams, Richie Havens, and Garnet Rogers. Her songwriting prowess shone through in prestigious competitions like the Kerrville New Folk Festival, Billboard Songwriter's Competition, and the International Songwriters Competition.

But it was her groundbreaking work with classical cellist Matt Haimovitz that truly set her on a unique path. Together, they brought classical music to unconventional venues, such as the iconic CBGB punk club in New York City. This audacious move caught the attention of The New York Times and posed a challenge that Jaimé fearlessly conquered with the power of social media, helping Haimovitz sell out his shows and revolutionizing the classical music scene.

Jaimé's journey continued as she managed the Chiara String Quartet, further pushing the boundaries of classical music in unexpected places. Her dedication and innovation in the "Classical in a Club" scene marked a turning point for the genre.

Today, Jaimé boasts a proven track record of managing social media campaigns, blogs, and web updates for numerous artists, with a special passion for classical musicians. From classical to folk, children's music to vocalists, her client roster includes notable names like Time for Three, Jackie Evancho, The 5 Browns, Cindy Blackman Santana, Anne Akiko Meyers, and many Grammy-nominated and award-winning artists.

With a workload of 10-15 clients, Jaimé effortlessly navigates the worlds of record labels, performing arts centers, film festivals, and premiere management agencies. But she always finds time to give back to her local community through her involvement with non-profit organizations.

Jaimé Morton's approach to publicity and online marketing is refreshingly personal, setting her apart from big corporate firms. She believes that in today's digital age, a client needs both traditional print publicity and expert social media support to make a lasting impact. Jaimé has mastered the art of building social networks, crafting strong brands, distributing compelling press releases, and managing online assets, whether for established musicians or regional businesses.

When she's not immersed in her work, you can find Jaimé west of Boston in Northampton, Massachusetts, where she leads a multifaceted life. Whether she's renovating her tiny house, supporting her local CSA, or enjoying trips to the beach with her three Golden Doodles. She has two nearly grown daughters, and a 10 year old as well. Jaimé brings the same level of dedication and enthusiasm to every aspect of her life.
